Calming and Relaxation for Stress
Mita fixed my block… even though I was unaware I had one!
I go to Mita for routine acupuncture as I find the experience relaxing and calming.
On one occasion Mita asked me (as she always does) how my day had been. I replied with “Yes, really good today” to be told that she wasn’t sure I was. After checking my pulses she noticed an irregularity with one of my five elements and found a block of energy. It stemmed from a stressful few minutes earlier in the day that I had carried with me. The energy was not flowing and although this all sounds very hippy and crazy, I felt it move and felt instantly at ease.
Mita is brilliant not just at acupuncture but with people. She seems to have an amazing knack of working out your current state and feeling.

I have recently had back surgery. Unfortunately, having recovered, I suffered a setback.
I went to see Mita because I was taking medication that made me feel dizzy, unfocussed and my head was ‘in a fog’ which I couldn’t seem to shake off. Mita gave me a treatment which made a huge difference to my wellbeing. She seemed to know instinctively what I was feeling and pinpointed exactly what I needed. Mita is a truly gifted person who treats her patients with love and a higher intelligence which gave me comfort and hope.

I was very sceptical when I visited Mita to try acupuncture for the first time. After all what can needles do that Western medicine can’t?
But I’d been in pain for years and the medication wasn’t helping so what was to lose? Mita immediately put me at my ease, explained in great detail how acupuncture works and what she was going to do in this 1st and subsequent sessions. The treatments are truly amazing.
I noticed some mild improvement immediately and at the end of just 4 sessions I was pain free and have been for a number of months now. I recommend Mita to anyone who is considering acupuncture. Her style is calming, personable, VERY knowledgeable and extremely skillful. Overall it is an incredible experience. Give her and acupuncture a try.

Whilst in my 41st week of pregnancy, I looked into various methods of naturally inducing labour.
Some friends had recommended acupuncture so I thought it would be worth a try. 33 hours after my session with Mita, labour started.
I found Mita to be very welcoming, reassuring and always professional. I would thoroughly recommend Mita to anybody in a similar situation. I believe the acupuncture to have directly led to the initiation of my labour.

I suffered lower back pain twice this year and was seeing a Physiotherapist at the hospital. I was recommended by a friend to visit Mita so I pursued the recommendation.
Prior to meeting Mita I received paperwork/medical questionnaire to fill in, this was a simple enough task. Upon meeting Mita she made me feel comfortable immediately with her persona, she is an extremely friendly, comforting individual yet professional – this struck me immediately.
She introduced me to Eastern holistic “Elements” which were alien to me, but definitely MOST effective – within a window of only 4 sessions, I felt benefit.
She explains all her treatments using language that is understandable, thus adding to the atmosphere of comfort, ease and clarity.
With her obvious professionalism, friendliness and definite effectiveness all resulting in a positive solution. She has a talent for healing.

Skin Condition and Reduction in Medication
I had been suffering on and off from a recurrent irritating and itchy skin condition for over ten years and had previously sought medical advice on how to treat and manage this condition.
I was offered a range of creams to apply but these only provided temporary relief and had no lasting effect. By trial and error I found that antihistamine tablets was the only medication that helped to control the condition but I was taking these tablets on a daily basis and decided that there must be an alternative.
Fortunately two of my friends told me that they had had (acupuncture) treatments from Mita and said how well the treatments had worked for them.
After three or four treatments I realised that most of the itching had ceased and that within a few more treatments the problem had disappeared completely and my skin condition had greatly improved. On top of this I also found that I was enjoying an overall improvement in my general well-being. I felt a heightened clarity in everything I saw, images were sharper and colours more distinct and that I could feel an inner peace and tranquillity whenever I chose to indulge myself.
I experience an immediate benefit from each treatment I have and find they are totally relaxing and I am now much more in tune with and listen to my body.
Mita is dedicated and confident; she is a true professional and has a warm and friendly personality. I have total confidence in Mita and find I can talk to her about anything and everything that affects my daily life. I’m glad that I took my skin problem to Mita for not only has she resolved that issue for me but has also opened my eyes and senses to many of the things that I had begun to take for granted.

Back Pain & Emotional Wellbeing
I found I was having a lot of back trouble due to my occupation and being tall. I had tried many massage therapies but they were not very successful. My friend who had treatment with Mita recommended acupuncture. Since having treatment I have not only had effective relief for my back, I have also found myself to be more emotionally stable and a lot happier. Mita did a “window of the sky” point which for me was a turning point emotionally as I had felt very angry and it helped to release it. I feel so much more energised on all levels and sleeping better too. Thank you very much, Mita.

Wellbeing improvement and relaxation
Mita is the most intuitive and calming person I’ve ever met!
As well as being a great listener, she uses the perfect combination of treatments to help the mind and body. I always leave her sessions feeling refreshed and with an inner glow of satisfaction I never otherwise experience.
I’m not keen on needles but I’d encourage anyone who hasn’t tried acupuncture to give it a go – it’s not painful and it can make you feel so much better, whatever your issue. Keep being brilliant, Mita. x

Weight Management
I have just come to the end of my first week of the eight week holistic weight loss journey and I have lost 5lbs in weight and an inch off my waist. I am extremely pleased with my results and I am even more motivated to carry on. The diet plan has been very practical and easy to follow, with so much variety, so I enjoy following it. The acupuncture alongside has been brilliant as it has helped me to detach my emotional links to food and now I’m not craving food that as I was previously. I am much more in control of my eating habits. I feel more calm, balanced and in control. Thank you so much Mita for your help x.

Acupuncture & Mindfulness for Preventative Medicine
It was my first time having acupuncture. It wasn’t painful at all as I imagined needles to be, in fact I felt relaxed during and after the sessions. My new, stress free friend

Post Cancer of the Tongue
Acupuncture has given me an energy that is healing. I feel my body is healing and becoming pain free as the treatment is progressing. There is improvement every week. My tongue and back were always in pain and its subsiding. In four treatments I am so happy that more than half the pain has gone and I’m excited to see how I progress in the coming weeks. I have never been this pain free for so long. I am now able to eat pain free. Acupuncture is just extraordinary and beautiful.

Energy & Motivation
I was feeling really tired, unmotivated and lacking energy having been through family troubles and the menopause kicking in. Anxiety & Work, Life Balance

Anxiety
After a breakdown last summer with longterm sickness from work and prescribed anti-depressants, I was recommended to visit Mita. At the time I felt too unwell to consider complementary therapy but as time has gone on I wanted to reduce my medication completely. I am now 70% of the way to achieving this in only 4 sessions of acupuncture. Small things that would have previously irritated me wash over and feelings of anxiety are few and far between and more manageable. People also comment on how well I look.

Recovery from Relationship Emotional Abuse
Since I have been having acupuncture treatment and mindfulness coaching, I feel as though it’s peeled back negative feelings to show the real me again but a better, more focussed, confident and go getting for life, opportunities and ideas. Physically I have more energy, I’m less tired because I’m finally sleeping better and feel excited about the day on waking rather than anxious. I feel like I’m living not just existing.

Anxiety
I am on Day 15 of 28 and I am feeling calmer and more relaxed and worrying less about my GCSE exams. I was very worried and was getting tummy upset or pains a few times a week. I have noticed that I am sleeping better and less tired when I wake up. I am feeling happier and brighter in myself too.
The course is really easy to understand and follow. I have a daily reminder to practice, so I practice every day as part of my bedtime routine. I would recommend this course to anyone who is worried about anything. I visited Mita for an initial chat, she helped me look at my lifestyle, eating patterns and diet. I am now eating better and regularly as well as drinking more water instead of sugary drinks all of which is giving me more energy and my stomach pains have gone. My GCSE grades were 2 grades higher

Emotion Regulation for Fertility
I have been feeling anxious about falling pregnant often overthinking and getting disappointed every month. Acupuncture helped me to relax and feel less stressed. The online mindfulness program was different to other types of mindfulness I had done before in that its helped me to tune into my body more which helped my mind stop wandering.

Clarity and happier
I feel more mature and clearer as to what is important to me in life since having acupuncture with Mita. I know myself better and what it wasn’t from life. The mindfulness has really helped me to let go of things I would normally let eat away at me. I sleep 100% better every time I have a treatment. Hot Flushes & Anxiety
I was feeling r
un down, not sleeping properly, not concentrating and feeling anxious because of hot flushes every hour. I had acupuncture years ago so knew acupuncture would help soothe them but I had no idea it would keep them at bay. I was delighted to find instant relief from them to only 1-2 mild ones. Grief
I was seeing a counsellor trying to get back
to normal since the trauma of the induction of labour to terminate my pregnancy.
I was suffering from exhaustion and overwhelming feelings of grief, and that
time had a very short fuse and struggled to cope well with family life and my
two children. My mum suggested to try acupuncture and I was willing to try anything
to get me back to normal. I’ve been having acupuncture for 4 weeks and I have

Emotional Abuse Recovery
I was so lost and stuck in a place that was not good for me. I was struggling to move forward and I just couldn’t seem to lift myself out of it. Stress
The Power of Mindfulness program is really well written. I’ve had a lot of work stress at the moment as do most GPs and moving abroad in July. I needed to regain control and find a sense of calm. I’ve started to use the techniques from my daily practice when I find myself getting worked up. Thanks for introducing me to this. I’ve wanted to practice mindfulness and learn more but never had the time to attend groups or classes or motivate myself to read a book on it. I recommend it to my patients all the time. This is an easy way to learn these fantastic concepts and exercises.

Mental Resilience
I thoroughly enjoyed and loved this course. I look forward to my ten minutes of quiet reading, reflection and meditation
everyday . The lessons are easy to slot into my day, though it took me a bit of trial and error to find the time of day where I was most receptive – I’m sure this will vary from person to person.The first week covered the ‘basics’ and
core principles before going into week two which extends further and introduces
new meditations and practical exercises. My mind wandered a lot, and it did
feel a bit strange at first, I trusted and followed the guidance to keep
practicing. I have noticed that now I look at situations and problems
differently. I am starting to pause more, breathe and focus before undertaking
any tasks (at work or home) and generally being more mindful and present in the
moment. I am also tuning into my body’s signals and respond to its signals and
needs better than before. I am going to carry on with daily practice and hoping
there will be further courses Mita delivers. I cannot think of anyone who
wouldn’t benefit from incorporating mindfulness into their lives so yes, I

Fertility
Thanks to Mita’s guidance, attention to detail and awareness of our individual needs she was able to get us into a more relaxed state. Our well-being was her main concern and once this was achieved she worked with us towards our goal of conceiving our first child. We had about two
